We are privileged to support the Sofia Foundation and the Accelerate! Project (2014-2016)

The Sofia Foundation is a non-profit organisation headquartered in Brussels. Its main goal is to accelerate women’s participation in economic, political and social governance across Europe.

With member partners from nine EU-States, the Sofia Foundation runs the top-ranked EU-funded project Accelerate! (2014-2016). Objectives and actions are twofold: achieve balanced leadership in Board governance and ensure a larger presence of women experts in the European media.

Recent activities included the Warsaw Conference on women leadership and exposure in the media. Brussels, Milan and Lisbon will host the next 2015-2016 events.
